Wahan sends overseas Pakistanis a photo report of the property they own back home. We need careful, honest people in Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi who can visit a property in their spare time and photograph it properly.

What the work is

• A job arrives in the Wahan team app on your phone: an address and a short checklist.
• You go to the property and take the photographs on the list. The app stamps each one with the time and place. A normal visit takes one and a half to two hours, door to door.
• You never speak for the owner, never take money from tenants or neighbours, and never post a photo anywhere.
• We check your visit and send the owner the report.

This is part-time work. You work for yourself. You are paid for every visit we accept. We explain the rates on the screening call.

Who it suits

• You live in Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad or Rawalpindi and know the area.
• You are free for at least two half days a week, weekends included.
• You have an Android phone with a good camera and GPS, and a motorbike.
• You read Urdu and can follow a checklist.
• You stay patient when a neighbour asks what you are doing.

Two more kinds of work need a background: construction stage visits (a civil diploma, or three years or more as a site supervisor or mason contractor) and solar and utility checks (an electrician or solar installer). Key holder work, which opens and airs a house, is not a starting job: it is offered to team members after ten good visits.

What we check

We tell you now, so nobody is surprised later.

• A short call in Urdu, about ten minutes.
• Your CNIC. On this form we ask for the number only, never a photo. Later we ask to see the original on a video call and match your face. We keep the number and a note that we saw it, and nothing else.
• Two references, and we phone both. At least one must not be family: a past employer, a teacher or an imam is best.
• A practice task, about thirty minutes and unpaid: install the team app in demo mode and photograph a house you can reach, following the checklist.
• One paid trial visit at the full rate, which we review line by line.
• Once you are on the team, every report gets a score from 1 to 5, and about one visit in twenty is checked again without notice. Photos carry GPS and time, so a visit made from home shows. After two serious faults we pause the account.
