Construction Monitoring: see how far your house has really got
$79 per stage visit
Your brother or contractor says the work is at roof level. We go and show you with dated photos, independent of the builder and of family. We can help you list the stages (foundation, slab, walls, roof, finishing).
$79 per stage visit. Pay by card before the visit. Full refund if we cannot complete it. Our team goes, never an agent on commission.
Who it is for
Construction Monitoring is for owners building a house, or adding a floor, while living abroad, and paying a contractor in instalments against stages. The question before each instalment is simple: has the work reached the stage I am being asked to pay for?
You choose the stage: foundation, plinth, walls, roof slab, plaster or finishing. We agree the date by email. Your own engineer or architect can then read dated photos instead of relying on a phone call.
We cover the whole Faisalabad district and the city limits of Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
What we photograph
- Which stage the build has reached
- The whole site, from two corners
- The work at that stage, close up
- The cement and steel on site
- Whether anyone was working when we arrived
- Cracks, standing water, rusted steel or exposed materials, if we see any, each with a photo
We are not engineers. We do not judge the quality of the work, test materials or instruct the contractor. The photos show what is there, with dates, so your engineer or architect can judge. To photograph close up we need to be let on to the site: you arrange that, usually through the contractor or a relative. If nobody lets us in, we photograph from outside and the report says so.
Price and what is included
One visit at the stage you choose, the photo list above and your report by email. Six visits are $399, about $67 each, paid in one go.
How it works
- Send your request with the city, the area and the plot or house number.
- We email you to confirm the date and the price. Prices are fixed in US dollars and nothing is charged yet.
- You then pay by card before the visit, through a secure payment link we email you. We never see or store your card details. Nothing is charged automatically.
- A named person from our team goes to the site on the agreed date and photographs how far the work has got, with the time and place locked to every photo.
- Your report arrives by email, with every photo dated and placed.
If we cannot complete your visit, you get all your money back.
Questions people ask
Do you tell the contractor what to do?
No. We never instruct or argue with the contractor, and we do not speak for you. We photograph and report.
Can you tell me whether the steel is the right grade?
No. We photograph the steel and cement on site. We do not test materials. An engineer can read the photos.
What if the site is locked when you arrive?
We photograph what can be seen from the road and the report says we could not go in. You arrange access with the contractor or a relative before the visit.
